It's winter and time to spend more time indoors. I don't like that, but also don't like to be COLD! What can you do for exercise on a cold winter day. I've discovered walking videos. I've been ordering them on the Internet and just love it. I'm doing four and five mile workouts. It doesn't seem like you would work up a sweat just walking, but believe me...you do. Some of the videos include using weights along with walking and you have four or five different basic walking steps. It takes about an hour for the four mile and an hour and 10 minutes for the five mile. You can do it at home without driving to the gym and you can do it any time of day. I'm loving it and have actually lost 4 or 5 pounds. It will also help get me ready for my ski trip this month.
